Kamal Haasan in Vijay TV

If there is one program that I watched "offline" on Youtube, it was Kamal Haasan's appearance in Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi in Vijay TV.  The program anchor Prakash Raj being a great fan of Kamal Haasan, showed a lot of respect and devotion throughout the programme. Also, it was not a real quiz program, it was an organized interview - there is no debate and very clear that Kamal can answer all these questions. There is no coincidences. What I liked was Kamal's brilliance and intelligence.  There is a lot to more about this legend. I just love this man.

Nedunchaalai: Next Movie by Director Krishna

Director Krishna made it big with his surya-jyothika starrer 'Sillunu Oru Kaadhal'.  Now he is on the game again with his next project Nedunchaalai.  I was very happy to see him on the Sun News with his team talking about the movie with a lot of pride and enthusiasm. This movie is based on the real incident the director saw on a highway. Having been his classmate in school, I am very proud of his accomplishment and wish him and his team the very best!

Shankar Bidari

Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari visited St.Pauls School's sports day event.  Sir was late to the event. The kids were frying on the hot sun. The teachers and parents took shelter in shamiyaana shade.

We cant get enough of Goundamani

For some reason, Tamil Cinema's one of the best comedians Goundamani has not been recognized well by our governments. Its the same set of heroes and heroines that were winning Filmfare and National awards those days.  Nothing can match his dialgoue delivery, body language, his slang, and punch. He was very 'loud', and he made us laugh, and he makes us laugh even now.



I dont think comedians go through film institute trainings. Goundamani also challenged false beliefs and attacked everyone equally.



Recently he was in the news for a surgery or so; but he is back home hale and healthy. Our friends gang were talking about him today and recalling his various movie dialogues and scenes. A sample scene is here.  In this scene he as a barber wins 15 lakhs rupees and his body language completely changes. The shaving kit on which his family runs is thrown to the river as its rendered useless for the new millionaire. He plans to  buy the road, town, and have AC house and so on. Then his wife gives the ultimate shock that the lottery ticket is kept in the shaving kit. A six minute sequence but timeless comedy. Hope you would enjoy!

Two famous models

I am recently noticing two models and artists being the attraction on the television and ads. One is Rukmini Vijayakumar and another is Divya Parameshwar.   Rukmini has acted in tamil film பொம்மலாட்டம் (Bommalattam) and Divya has been appearing on various ads the recent being Hamaam. Rukmini is a classical dancer and also has a website.  Divya's ads are very famous including the 3 Roses Ad, Kalamandir, Hamaam etc.
