From Weeper to Sweeper

The Sweeper in me has woken up sometime back.
The world has so much goodness but the filth has been ever mounting.
Its time I touch this world, sweep away the dirt in small little way.
Why do people abuse others?
Why do people abuse themselves?
Why the greed for money never seems to decline?
Why are we critical about everything and miss the goodness?
Why do they rape a child?
- Nothing pains me than the news of a child being raped.

Why is the world raging with anger all over?

The little sweeper in me tells me that I should do something do to the society.
May the Gods help.

Corruption - Ah! Another bad word for me.  I will sweep this one day.

Meet the new minimalist!

Your friend has become a minimalist now!

Yes, I have started adopting minimalism as a way of life.  Its a challenging mindset especially when you have kids.

Look around, you will find that there are 1000 things that we possess just as a matter of self-pride but no usefulness. Gadgets, gifts, one-time useful items, and so on.  It was very frustrating to manage them all.

Having determined to 'clean up', I have almost become a military officer insisting that we be a gatekeeper for any new items that enters our house.

Many items from my items are being cleared. Will post an photo album sooner.

Not only things, number of blogs also have come down.

More on this soon!

Giving a child a family

One of the key decisions I made this year was to adopt a child. Somewhere, some corner of this world, a girl child is waiting for me to get adopted. Every day I read a news of child abuse in the schools and families, my mind immediately shifts to those in ashrams and orphanages. Are the guardians over there really a guardian?  I want to do a bit to this society.  I know many parents do not adopt children because they do not see much stories around them.  Most of the parents who adopt kids are childless couples. Very few parents who already have biological kids go for adoption. Many say the rules in India are very stringent and there are reasons for it. I want to make this commitment to myself: Adopt a child. And in my lifetime, enable some 100 families to adopt a child. Follow me on http://familyforchild.blogspot.com and support me along the journey.

It was a bad day; but...

It really  started  as a bad day..but as the day closes, its a good day.
A small lie here - it didnt start bad..I woke up at 4..it was few hours later it became  bad.
I dont care now whether  it  was because  of  stars  or because  of  my shortcomings  but when I understood  the situation  like an outsider  it started  becoming  better.
We shouldn't  screwup our family  and  friends  just because  someone  else  does  that  to us.
We have tools at our disposal.
We can handle any situation.
I don't  need a crown;
The world will not drown;
Even if, I will not frown .

Kaththi movie review

Watched  Kaththi  1st day 2nd show.
Vijay  double act. He fights for farmers against  cola  companies land grabbing. Very long story telling. Many scenes remind you  of  sura, velayudham, thuppaki  and thalaivaa. Some scenes  are interesting  and some are really testing  patience. Murugadoss  reminds  scenes from  7aam Arivu. Anirudh music is actually  a noise. Vijay is very youthful. Opening  scene is really good and i believed  entire story  will build on it. Murugadoss tends to do another message for society  movie. Samantha  has no role to play. Missing logics in some places. Vijay fans cheered a lot in the theatre.
You can watch  once.

Rotten fences

Last month the Bangalore kid's abuse newsat School made a wave - but lets not forgot forget there are more and more rotten fences polluting the society. They should be eradicated.  I wish this Diwali be celebrated to wage a war against the modern Narakasuras.
